Boys Junior Varsity Baseball, Boys Varsity Baseball · Baseball Opens Season with Two Losses

The varsity baseball team finally go to play a game on Tuesday March 29.  They hosted former section foe Brentwood.  After taking a 4-2 lead into the 4th inning, Brentwood scored the next 8 runs before Eden added one run late.  The final was 10-5 Brentwood.  Jesse Clary took the loss.  Matt Knauer led the team with 3 hits, Dylan Kingan added a 2-run single and Markus Williams had the team only extra base hit (2B).

The Warriors traveled to Youthtowne to play another former section foe, OLSH.  The game was scoreless until the bottom of the 4th, when OLSH got 2 runs off starter Andrew Hachmeister.  Hachmeister went 5 innings giving up 4 runs (3 earned) and took the loss.  the Warriors could only muster 5 singles on the night, but fell in the end 4-0.
