The fall sports season began on a hot sunny day at Mt. Nebo and Harmony Ridge Golf Course in mid August and ended on a chilly but sunny day at Hershey in early November. Our five high school sports competed here on campus and logged a little over 2,000 miles competing on the road! Please enjoy this recap of the teams as well as the individual honors!
The girls cross country team went 4-4 in their section races. At the WPIAL championships, they finished 5th out of 19 teams, missing the PIAA Championships by one spot. Emma Steele & Caeley Scherer individually qualified for the PIAA Championships! The boys cross country team went 6-2 in their section races. At the WPIAL championships, they finished 3rd and qualified for the PIAA Championships! This was the first time Eden qualified an entire team for states! This qualifying team was made up of Eric Gronbeck, Wes Rodu, Ian Bilger, Raymond Stierer, Cameron Kostik, Collin Hicks & Alex Cook.
The golf team had another successful season going 10-2 and finishing in second place in their section. That finish qualified them for the WPIAL team playoffs for the third time in program history and second season in a row.
The girls soccer team went 5-7 overall and in section play. They finished in 4th place in their section and qualified for the WPIAL playoffs for the second season in a row. Sydney Gates, Olivia Bodine and Natalie Merrick were named to the All-Section team.
The boys soccer team went 7-7-1 overall and 3-7-1 in their section. They finished in 6th place in their section. Alex Cook and Michael Merrick were named to the All-Section team, while Gideon Manges received an Honorable Mention recognition.
The volleyball team went 9-8 overall and 6-8 in section play. They finished in 5th place, one match out of a WPIAL playoff spot. The All-Section team included Alexa Puckett (1st team), Paige Balla (2nd team), and Elizabeth Arnold (3rd team).
